This one of a kind art piece was made over weeks of time.  It all started with Artist Donna Lindeen Harrington carving this design into her halloween pumpkin in her "Phoenix Year," when she painted, and sculpted phoenix's as a passion.  Donna later sculpted this design into clay, then made a silicone mold of it so she could explore the fluidity of colors, metal powders and glitters that only resin can do.
 
This one of a kind art piece was made over weeks of time in layers upon layers of professional quality resin.  There are layers with real bronze, copper and brass powders inside the resin, that were buffed to a shine after the piece was complete.  Donna had no idea what the final piece was going to turn out like because her entire process in pouring the various layers / sections of resin were all in reverse.  
 
It was a great delight when the day came when the mold was filled enough to reveal the final art piece! This is a true one of a kind art piece with just enough sparkle, metal shimmer and bold color to make this be a stand out statement piece for any space.
 
This piece is 5" tall and 12 3/4" wide, and slightly 1/2" thick.
You can purchase this and have it professionally framed or you can have  Donna mount it inside a 10"x 17.5"x 1 3/4" thick framed wood canvas (as she would mount it for her own home) for an extra fee.
